Data Handling Guidelines
ServSheets Pro is architected around a strict client-side execution model. All script routines run natively within your Google Workspace environment without transmitting proprietary business data to external servers.
1. Architecture & Execution Model
ServSheets Pro operates as a modular Google Workspace extension built with Google Apps Script. When you trigger automation actions (such as logging shifts, tallying inventory, or generating shift summaries), execution occurs entirely within Google Cloud infrastructure tied to your personal or organization account.
2. Google API Permissions & Scopes Requested
ServSheets Pro requests the minimal permissions required to deliver operational hospitality workflows. Each authorized scope is limited to user-initiated automation tasks:
Google Sheets: Read and update cell records, recalculate food-cost matrix tables, and format schedule grids within spreadsheets you explicitly attach.
Google Forms: Aggregate incoming staff submissions, checklist completions, and incident reports into master balance sheets.
Google Docs: Auto-populate formatted operational summaries, closing logs, and PDF shift handoff memos directly into your Drive folders.
Gmail Notification Relay: Dispatch automated alert emails (such as daily exception reports and checklist sync confirmations) directly from your verified Google email address.
3. Zero External Database Storage
Your business data, recipe costs, shift schedules, and employee rosters are never copied, indexed, or stored on ServSheets Pro infrastructure. All state remains isolated in your Google Workspace files.
Because ServSheets Pro does not operate persistent third-party databases, our team cannot view, modify, sell, or analyze your underlying operational numbers. When you revoke add-on authorization via your Google Account dashboard, script access terminates immediately.
4. Third Parties & Data Sharing
We maintain an uncompromising zero-telemetry policy regarding your business metrics. We do not sell, rent, or trade your operational records, employee information, or inventory pricing to third-party ad networks, data brokers, or AI model training pipelines.
5. Data Retention & Revocation
Since all calculations execute locally within your spreadsheets, data retention is managed directly through your own Google Drive storage rules. You retain 100% control over file backup lifecycles, sheet version histories, and permanent file deletion. You can remove ServSheets Pro permissions at any moment from myaccount.google.com/permissions.
6. Google Limited Use Compliance
ServSheets Pro's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
